Kobbie Mainoo’s brother, Jordan Hames, was in attendance at Old Trafford this evening – and he had a pretty clear message for Ruben Amorim.

Hames’ shirt had a simple statement blazoned across the front, reading: “Free Kobbie Mainoo.”

The ex-Love Island star is evidently looking to rally behind his brother amidst his uncertain situation at Old Trafford, which has seen him plummet in the pecking order and face an uphill battle to reclaim his spot in the team.

Despite there being four United goals tonight, one of the loudest cheers of the game came when Mainoo entered the fray in the 61st minute when he replaced Casemiro, who’d just been shown his fifth yellow card.

The 29 minutes that the midfielder played marked his lengthiest cameo since United’s defeat to Everton on November 24, when he featured for 32 minutes.
