Francesca Teodori believes French midfield sensation Manu Kone is all set to join Manchester United next summer.

Recently, Manchester United have been primarily focused on strengthening their attack, and they added significant firepower to their squad during the last summer transfer window. Now, the Red Devils want to strengthen their midfield as we advance and AS Roma’s Manu Kone is one of the names on their wishlist.

Kone was linked with Manchester United in the past as well.

Teodori claims Manu Kone will join Manchester United

While speaking to ASRomaLive’s Twitch channel, Francesca Teodori claimed that Kone is set to move to Old Trafford ahead of the next season. She is not certain if Joshua Zirkzee will be a part of the deal, but is quite confident that the French international is very keen on joining the Red Devils.

Teodori said via SportWitness: “It’s not news, but it’s a fairly credible rumour. I’ve been told by multiple sources that he’ll leave Roma in June and join Manchester United.”

While addressing the assumption of Zirkzee being a part of the deal, she added, “I don’t know if this has anything to do with the Zirkzee deal. He might have been included as a sort of counterpart. This remains to be seen, but what’s certain is that Kone is very keen on the destination and it looks like he could join United in June.”
